Privacy notice
Updated . This covers this website and its launch list. The app has its own policy, published with it.
Who we are
Tillslip is made by Cristiano Betta, in London, who decides how this information is used. Questions, or to have your details removed: hello@tillslip.co.uk.
The launch list
If you sign up, we keep:
- your email address,
- your answer to “how do you do your tax today?”, if you give one,
- whether you asked to try the beta,
- which page you signed up on, and when.
We use it to email you once when Tillslip launches, and to invite you to the beta if you ticked that box. The answer and the page tell us who the app is for; we count them, we don’t profile you. Our reason for using it is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us or replying to any email we send.
It’s kept on a server we run ourselves in the UK, with encrypted backups. Nobody else gets it, and we never sell it. When we send the launch email we may use an email service, which handles your address only to deliver that message. We delete the list once the launch email (and the beta invitation, if you asked for one) has gone, and in any case by 31 December 2027.
Visiting the site
The site sets no cookies. It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or track you across sites. Cloudflare also delivers the site and protects it from attacks, so it sees your IP address and browser details as part of serving each page. To stop the sign-up form being abused, our server briefly holds your IP address in memory; it isn’t stored.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@tillslip.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
